QUICK RESPONSE (QR) CODES

FACE-OFF GAMES uses dynamic QR Codes from Scanova on many of our game and marketing products, including but not limited to game components such as the Hockey Hardware® game box, the Hockey Hardware® rule book, the Hockey Hardware® Game Schedule, and the Hockey Hardware® tuck-end card box.

 

A QR Code is an alternative to a barcode designed to store more information in a small space. The dynamic QR Codes that we use can be updated over time and for various marketing and promotion campaigns. They also have a capacity for tracking and analytics.

 

QR Code tracking gathers aggregated data on audience engagement without collecting identifiable information (PII). It does not invade privacy by tracking individual identities or browsing activities.

 

When a User scans one of our dynamic QR Codes, FACE-OFF GAMES can receive data such as the location of the scan, the time of the scan, the frequency of scan(s), and the device used to scan it.
