Not only did Hockey Hardware reach it's $40,000 funding goal three days ahead of schedule, but it exceeded that goal by almost $10,000! All of these funds will help cover costs associated with manufacturing the game and completing this Kickstarter campaign.
I'm blown away by your incredible support, enthusiasm, and excitement about this game. The most rewarding part about Hockey Hardware for me is watching players play the game, laugh together, and have fun. It brings me so much happiness, and I'm thrilled to be able to share this joy with you and everyone who plays this game in the future.
For almost six years, I've dreamed about making Hockey Hardware a reality, and I've worked devotedly on the game and planning two Kickstarter campaigns just to have a shot at making it happen. Now, through this successful Kickstarter campaign that YOU helped fund, this dream is within reach, and it's coming true! Thank you. Thank you, so very much.
What's Next?
In the immediate future, Kickstarter will charge the pledge on your credit card very soon. Kickstarter will also likely be in touch with you if there are any issues in processing your charge.
On my end, I will be working with a pledge manager service to help keep fulfillment organized and on track. I'll be working with them to set that up very soon.
Before September, you should receive a Backer Survey requesting any additional info needed for shipping and local pick-up in Ottawa and Niagara, or needed to complete your pledge (e.g., customizable info for any Rewards and Add-ons that may need it).
I will also be reaching out to my manufacturer and suppliers soon to get everything lined up in order to move forward with Rewards and Add-ons. As mentioned under the 'Delivery Timeline' tab on Hockey Hardware's Kickstarter page, I am targeting April 2025 to deliver Rewards and Add-ons to Backers.
From a communications standpoint, I will also post monthly updates on Kickstarter to keep everyone informed about how the project is progressing, and more frequent updates on an as needed basis if/when that arises.
