Exciting news! The Hockey Hardware PledgeManager has been configured and tested, and it is almost ready to go live.
Launch is expected to take place over the next few days. Keep an eye on your email inbox for your PledgeManager invitation link! It will be sent by Kickstarter, and the subject line should read, "FACE-OFF GAMES needs more information to fulfill your reward".
If you're a Backer who pledged for any physical or digital items on Kickstarter, it's especially important that you complete PledgeManager - particularly if any of your items require customization, shipping, or local pick-up.
Once you receive this link, please complete your Hockey Hardware PledgeManager before Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:59pm EST so we can proceed with your order.
For Backers who pledged Bonus Support on Kickstarter without selecting any physical or digital items, you're welcome to take advantage of PledgeManager to Upgrade or Add-on to your pledge, if you wish. However, if you're satisfied with your pledge as you made it on Kickstarter, then you're all set. You do not have to complete PledgeManager.

What is PledgeManager?
PledgeManager by Kicktraq is an industry leader in pledge management services since 2013. It integrates with Kickstarter, and it helps me as the project creator collect delivery addresses and reward preferences from Backers, coordinate shipping costs and any applicable taxes, and provides a platform to offer pledge upgrades, add-ons, and pre-orders.
As a Hockey Hardware Kickstarter Backer, what do I need to do on PledgeManager?
Once you receive your invitation link, you will need to re-confirm your Hockey Hardware Kickstarter pledge and select how you want to receive your order once it's ready.
If you select shipping for your items, you'll be asked to provide your mailing address and pay any applicable fees. Shipping is available to Backers in Canada and the USA.
Local pick-up is also available for Backers in Ottawa and Niagara (Canada). To select local pick-up, click the blue 'Details' button at the top of the Shipping page. Here is a picture for reference:
Local pick-up details, including date(s), time(s), and location(s) will be announced closer to when your items are ready in 2025.
If your items require any customization, you'll be asked to complete one or more customization survey(s). The following items will be customized:

PledgeManager also provides a limited time opportunity to Upgrade your pledge to a higher tier or Add-on more items to your pledge, if you wish.
What happens to the funds raised in PledgeManager?
Funds raised in PledgeManager will help cover costs associated with completing this project. For example, shipping fees will cover fulfillment costs, including packaging and shipping; while funds raised through pledge Upgrades and Add-ons will help with manufacturing costs.
When will I receive my Hockey Hardware PledgeManager invitation link?
You will receive your invitation link sometime within the next week. Keep an eye on your inbox for an email from Kickstarter with the subject line, "FACE-OFF GAMES needs more information to fulfill your reward".

Is there a deadline to complete my Hockey Hardware PledgeManager?
Yes. The deadline is Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:59pm EST. However, the sooner you can complete your PledgeManager, the better!

Project Update
Overall, Hockey Hardware is advancing forward at a steady pace and continues to be on track to meet its estimated delivery goal in April 2025.
The launch of Hockey Hardware's PledgeManager will be a major post-crowdfunding milestone.
In addition to working a lot on configuring PledgeManager, building customization surveys, and determining shipping rates in both Canada and the USA, certain components of the game and various add-on items have already been ordered.
Meanwhile, the graphic design of game components are being finalized for Hockey Hardware's Canadian manufacturer. This work takes a lot of time, consideration, creative thought, and attention to detail.
For example, four new pages have been added to the Rule Book. Additions include a table of contents, a game set-up reference page, and more pictures throughout to add more colour and visual appeal.
Another update has been changing the age grade on the prototype from 8+ to 14+. This change classifies Hockey Hardware as a general use product that is intended for use by consumers of all ages, and not primarily for children aged 13 or under. This change helps Hockey Hardware get to market quicker at this time, while respecting and maintaining compliance with toy safety laws and regulations in both Canada and the USA.
Next Steps
Once the graphics are ready, Hockey Hardware's Canadian manufacturer will print a sample copy of the game for a final review.
